Thoracic surgeons at Pittsburgh's Allegheny General Hospital are using the advanced da Vinci robotic surgical system to perform minimally invasive lung cancer surgery, offering new hope to patients with early stage lung cancer who may not be good candidates for a more invasive operation. Pittsburgh Tribune Review/Valley News Dispatch: Network shuffles Allegheny Valley Hospital leadership

West Penn Allegheny Health System on Thursday announced a reorganization of the leadership at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Harrison.
Ned Laubacher, who has served as president and chief executive officer since 2009, will now have the title executive vice president of the eastern corridor.
In his new role, Laubacher, 49, will oversee strategy, operations and performance for both AVH and Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville.
