Minimally Invasive Robotic Lung Cancer Surgery
Thoracic surgeons at Pittsburgh's Allegheny General Hospital are using the advanced da Vinci robotic surgical system to perform minimally invasive lung cancer surgery, offering new hope to patients with early stage lung cancer who may not be good candidates for a more invasive operation. KDKA-TV: A Penchant For Preventive Mastectomies

According to the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council, the number of women across the state who are preventive mastectomy is up — from 94 in 2002, to 455 in 2011.
