Advice to manage food during holiday season

The upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays often bring many opportunities to indulge in all kinds of food.
However, according to licensed clinical social worker Elizabeth Babcock, it's important not to overdo it during the holiday season--or at any time.

Babcock, whose office is located in McMurray, presented her interactive workshop "Managing Holiday Food" to an intimate group at Canonsburg Hospital earlier this month. Babcock said she was a compulsive overeater herself for more than 30 years and has been helping folks in her practice battle overeating for about 10 years.
