Minimally Invasive Robotic Lung Cancer Surgery
Thoracic surgeons at Pittsburgh's Allegheny General Hospital are using the advanced da Vinci robotic surgical system to perform minimally invasive lung cancer surgery, offering new hope to patients with early stage lung cancer who may not be good candidates for a more invasive operation. AVH Surgeon Presents Lecture on Common Back Problems

Natrona Heights, Pa., – Allegheny Valley Hospital’s (AVH) PriorityCare program will host Michael P. Casey, MD for a presentation entitled “Treatment of Common Spine Problems” on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 6 p.m. in the Charles W. Young Conference Center at the hospital in Harrison. Dr. Casey, a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon on staff at AVH, practices with Greater Pittsburgh Orthopaedic Associates in Natrona Heights. He will discuss the causes of back pain and other common problems in the spine and how a surgeon can help. There is no need to live with untreated pain and loss of function.
