Natrona Heights, Pa., - Alle-Kiski Medical Center (AKMC) held an Open House at its new Outpatient Care Center in Vandergrift on December 2. Approximately 100 visitors got a firsthand look at the beautiful Outpatient Care Center and were provided with a tour that showcased the Center’s latest technology in diagnostic testing. Located in the Wilson Square Professional Building at 224 Longfellow Street in Vandergrift, AKMC’s Outpatient Care Center has been open to the public since October 25. The Center has been well received by the public and offers the residents of the Kiski Valley convenient access to health care services including diagnostic testing, such as routine X-rays, cardiac studies, a blood draw station and sleep lab center. The Center will also offer community health education classes and other services in the future.

The two-level design of the 15,000 square foot professional building on Longfellow Street makes accessibility from both the upper and lower levels easy and provides close and convenient parking for patients and customers. AKMC’s Outpatient Care Center is located on the lower level of the building. The upper level houses the physician offices of Mohan M. Patel, MD and Michael C. Ong, MD and the Vandergrift Pharmacy.

The Outpatient Care Center in Vandergrift is one of three centers offering convenient access to diagnostic services in an outpatient setting owned and operated by AKMC. AKMC also offers outpatient services in New Kensington at the site of the former Citizens General Hospital and at Radiological Imaging on Freeport Road in Natrona Heights. In addition, AKMC has blood draw stations in Lower Burrell and Natrona Heights and an outpatient physical and occupational therapy center in the Heights Plaza.
