AVH Hosts Chest Pain Program at Hospital

Natrona Heights, Pa., - Chest discomfort or pain may be a key warning symptom of a heart attack. Too many people wait to see if the pain will pass. Understanding the proper response to chest pain can make a life and death difference for you.
Allegheny Valley Hospital’s (AVH) PriorityCare program invites you to learn more from Brian Check, EMT-P, when he discusses “Chest Pain: What To Do When It’s You” on Thursday, February 16 at 6 p.m.at the Charles W. Young Conference Center at the hospital in Harrison.  Mr. Check, a paramedic and AVH’s Pre-Hospital Care Education Facilitator, will teach what to do when you experience a chest pain emergency and will help you understand the important role of the emergency medical personnel in the field. You can save a life…yours.
