AVH Hosts Heart Wise - Understanding, Preventing and Treating Heart Disease

Natrona Heights, Pa., – Allegheny Valley Hospital’s (AVH) PriorityCare program will close heart month with a special presentation by John Balacko, MD from Tri-County Cardiology entitled “Heart Wise: Understanding, Preventing and Treating Heart Disease”on Wednesday, February 29 at 6 p.m. in the Charles W. Young Conference Center at the hospital in Harrison.
Dr. Balacko will discuss the facts about heart disease, the risk factors you can modify and the treatment options available. Understanding the cause and how to manage or prevent heart disease is the first step in preventing more serious heart problems any heart attacks. Dr. Balacko is a board certified cardiologist and is on staff at Allegheny Valley Hospital.
PriorityCare is a free membership program offered by AVH to all adults age 55 or older.
