The Rest of Your Life: Coping with Sleep Apnea

Natrona Heights, Pa., – The PriorityCare program of Alle-Kiski Medical Center (AKMC) will host “The Rest of Your Life: Coping with Sleep Apnea” presented by Richard Bernat, MD on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 6 p.m. in the Charles W. Young Conference Center at the hospital in Natrona Heights. Bob Butler, RRT and Michelle Walter, CRT, RSGPT from the Sleep Lab at AKMC will join Dr. Bernat, who is an otolaryngologist with Allegheny Ear, Nose and Throat Associates.

Sleep apnea usually is a chronic condition that disrupts your sleep, which results in poor sleep quality that makes you tired during the day. Most people have sleep apnea but don't know they have it. There are medical and surgical solutions that will be discussed by the presenters.
