Pledge the Gift of Life

Each year, the lives of thousands of people across the country are saved because someone made the choice to become an organ donor. In April, Allegheny Health Network is honored to celebrate National Donate Life Month and pay tribute to all of those who have bestowed the precious gift of life to another through organ donation. Visit AHNdonate.org to learn more and register to be an organ donor.

AKMC Physicians Discuss Bone & Joint Pain

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

Natrona Heights, Pa. – Orthopedic surgeon, Michael Miller, MD and rheumatologist, Lindsay Wagner, MD have teamed up to talk about “Bone and Joint Pain: Medical and Surgical Solutions” on March 10 at 6 p.m. at Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights in the Charles W. Young Conference Center. The program is designed to be a question and answer session to focus on the concerns of participants.

Bone and joint pain is common and seems to increase as we age. Shoulder, hip, knee and back pain can limit our activities and severely affect our quality of life. Knowing when to see he doctor, what symptoms to report and which doctor to consult is a challenge. This program will help you address that challenge.

Both doctors are on staff at AKMC. Dr. Miller practices with Greater Pittsburgh Orthopedic Associates in Brackenridge and Dr. Ledwich is with the Arthritis & Rheumatic Disease group also in Brackenridge.

The program is free and open to the public. Please call 724-226-7339 to register.
