Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: AGH Nurse Honored by Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Harriet Gudenburr of McMurray, a registered nurse at Allegheny General Hospital, is this year's recipient of the Pittsburgh Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure's PNC Community Caring Award. The award honors her decades of caring for oncology patients and helping women with breast cancer make informed decisions about treatment.

Ms. Gudenburr, manager of Outpatient Services at AGH, has spent nearly half of her 46 years in nursing caring for oncology patients. She received the award at a ceremony at the LeMont Restaurant, on Mount Washington.

She graduated from the Presbyterian University Hospital School Of Nursing.
