Alle-Kiski Medical Center Offers AARP Driver Safety

Natrona Heights Pa., - The PriorityCare program at Alle-Kiski Medical Center (AKMC) is offering an AARP Driver Safety Class on June 16 and 19, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the hospital in Harrison in the Charles W. Young Conference Center. 

The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation’s first and largest refresher course for drivers age 50 and older that has helped millions of drivers remain safe on today’s roads. Offered for over 25 years, the program is designed to help tune up driving skills and update knowledge of the rules of the road. Learn how to adjust your driving to allow for normal age-related physical changes and reduce your traffic violations, crashes and chances for injuries. Best of all, graduates qualify for a state mandated multi-year discount on auto insurance. You must attend both days.

Fee of $12.00 for AARP members or $14.00 for non-members is payable to AARP. Class size is limited; so reservations are required, please call 724-226-7339 or e-mail to kgiovann@wpahs.org.
