AKMC Physician Explains Hearing Loss

Natrona Heights, Pa., – Alle-Kiski Medical Center’s (AKMC) PriorityCare program is sponsoring “Let’s Hear It: Understanding Hearing Loss” on May 18 at 6 p.m. Ear, nose and throat specialist, Anthony Ulizio, MD will discuss the diagnosis, treatment and potential for correction of hearing loss. Difficulty hearing can disrupt a person’s ability to communicate and participate in daily life.

Participants will receive a coupon to schedule a free hearing screening at their convenience.

Dr. Ulizio, board certified in otolaryngology, is on staff AKMC and has an office in Brackenridge.

The program, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Charles W. Young Conference Center at the hospital in Harrison. Call 724-226-7339 to register.
