Alle-Kiski Medical Center Seeks Volunteers

Friday, May 7th, 2010

Natrona Heights Pa., - Alle-Kiski Medical Center (AKMC) has volunteer opportunities at the hospital campus in Harrison. Volunteers are needed in the patient access and the surgical reception areas. Patient access volunteers greet and assist outpatients during the registration process. Surgical reception volunteers greet and assist patients and families reporting for surgical procedures. Both areas provide great support to patients and helps reduce the anxiety related to a hospital visit. Adults and teens 15 and older are eligible to apply. Openings are available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Volunteer shifts are typically three to four hours.

Hospital volunteering is a great way to help take care of your community, make a difference and meet new people.

Apply on-line at www.akmc.org or call, Kimberly Giovannelli or Suzi Fertig at 724-226-7370 for more information.
