AVH Offers Reiki for Stress Management

Natrona Heights Pa., - Allegheny Valley Hospital’s (AVH) PriorityCare program is hosting “Stress Management and Relaxation: the Reiki Solution” on Friday, May 17 at 2 p.m. at the hospital’s Charles W. Young Conference Center in Natrona Heights.

Certified Reiki practitioner Julie Margo from Full Spectrum Self will discuss and demonstrate this Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki is a safe, natural and holistic way of obtaining balance and a sense of well-being. Some report relief from pain and anxiety as well.

Ms. Margo is a Certified Reiki Master Teacher, a founding member of the organizational committee for the Western Pennsylvania Reiki & Healing Fair. She was instrumental in developing a Reiki volunteer program at AVH.
