Canonsburg General Hospital Interim CEO Named

Wednesday, June 1st, 2011

Canonsburg Hospital (CGH) officials announced today that Terry Wiltrout has been appointed as the Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2011. Current CGH President and CEO, Kim Malinky, is retiring from her position and will leave the organization in August.

Wiltrout has served as Vice President of Operations at CGH since 2007 and officially joined the hospital’s leadership team in 2003. He began his career with the West Penn Allegheny Health System in 1991 as a Computer Operator.

Most recently, Wiltrout was the lead executive overseeing the development of West Penn Allegheny‘s new Outpatient Care Center in Peters Township. Since joining CGH, he has been an active member of many community organizations, including the Canonsburg-Houston Rotary, the McMurray Rotary, the Washington-Mon Valley American Heart Association Heart Walk Committee and is a recent graduate of Leadership Washington County.

An honors graduate of Robert Morris College with a degree in Management Information Systems, Wiltrout earned his MBA degree in Health Systems Administration from Waynesburg University.
