The Almanac: Cardiac arrest survivor thanks emergency workers

Life changed in a split second when 50-year-old Daniel Canfield had a heart attack and stopped breathing. But thanks to a quick response by North Strabane Township police and firefighters, Canonsburg Ambulance personnel and staff at Canonsburg and Allegheny General hospitals, he was able to survive the sudden cardiac arrest.
