Pledge the Gift of Life

Each year, the lives of thousands of people across the country are saved because someone made the choice to become an organ donor. In April, Allegheny Health Network is honored to celebrate National Donate Life Month and pay tribute to all of those who have bestowed the precious gift of life to another through organ donation. Visit AHNdonate.org to learn more and register to be an organ donor.

Natrona Heights Pa., - The Young Lawyers Division of the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA) is offering the “Family Matters: Living Wills and Powers of Attorney” seminar on June 22, 2010 at
3 p.m. at Alle-Kiski Medical Center’s (AKMC) Charles W. Young Conference Center.

“Family Matters: Living Wills and Powers of Attorney” reviews the specifics of how “advance directives” should be prepared and why they are important. Edward Spontak, attorney-at-law, will discuss being prepared for disability, incapacity and/or death. You will understand the probate process in estate administration.
