Allegheny Health Network launches brand identity for the nation’s newest integrated healthcare delivery system

Allegheny Health Network, a new integrated healthcare delivery system serving western Pennsylvania, today launched its new brand identify with a regional, multi-media advertising campaign. Featuring a logo that symbolizes the organization’s upward arcing movement of growth and optimism, the Allegheny Health Network brand represents four key tenets– patient-centered care, physician leadership, innovation and affordable, high-quality services.

Employee celebrations of the Allegheny Health Network brand launch are also planned at the network’s seven hospitals today, beginning at 7 a.m., as well as at Highmark’s headquarters downtown. New facility signage featuring the network’s logo has been unveiled at the hospitals as well.
“Today is another significant step forward in the establishment of Allegheny Health Network as the region’s premiere healthcare provider. The healthcare professionals, hospitals and ancillary service providers that make up Allegheny Health Network are some of the very best in the country, and we are excited to begin sharing with the community their many great stories and examples of the exceptional, compassionate care that they provide each day,” said William  Winkenwerder Jr., M.D., president and chief executive officer of Highmark.

“Our brand rollout marks the start of a long conversation we will be having with the community about why Allegheny Health Network is uniquely capable of providing the high-quality, affordable healthcare choices that are so vital to the future of healthcare in our region and beyond.”

With more than 17,000 employees and 2,100 physicians on its medical staff, Allegheny Health Network offers the complete spectrum of advanced medical care, including expertise and far reaching, multi-disciplinary programs in:
