Celebrating the Ultimate Gift of Life -- Through Organ Donation
In celebration of national Donate Life Month, Allegheny General Hospital's Transplant Program brought families of organ donors, living donors and transplant recipients together for a beautiful ceremony recognizing all of those who have bestowed the gift of life to another human being through organ donation. Pittsburgh Tribune Review: Women create calendar to raise funds for NICU families

After spending months in the neonatal intensive care unit at West Penn Hospital with their own children, two families created a 2013 calendar featuring babies from the West Penn NICU and will give the proceeds from its sale to help other families pay for meals, parking, or even phone calls when they can’t make the trip to be with their small children.
