CRANBERRY TWP. - Cancer survivors and patients coping with cancer are invited to combine laughter and learning at the 8th annual Healing Journey, sponsored by West Penn Allegheny Oncology Network (WPAON), Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Four Points Sheraton in Cranberry Township.
“The Healing Journey” is an inspirational morning of seminars and discussion designed to help cancer patients and their family and friends live life to the fullest. The event is free and includes breakfast, lunch and lots of extras.
Comedian Scott Burton, who has been at the forefront of the health and humor movement for more than 15 years, will perform his laugh-out-loud routine that uses comedy to tell his story of cancer survivorship, helping others find joy and productivity through adversity.
