AVH Physician Discusses the Thyroid Gland

Natrona Heights, Pa. – Endocrinologist, Kamala Rajupet, MD will present “Thyroid Disease – a Q&A with the Doctor” on October 29 at 6 p.m. at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights in the Charles W. Young Conference Center.

The thyroid gland plays an important role in a number of areas and can impact you in many ways. Nodules, goiters and hormonal issues and an over or under active thyroid can affect many aspects of your health and well being. The doctors will review how problems are diagnosed and treatment selected.

Dr. Rajupet is board-certified in endocrinology, the study of diabetes, thyroid and other glands. Her office is located at the Joslin Diabetes Center in New Kensington.
