Pledge the Gift of Life

Each year, the lives of thousands of people across the country are saved because someone made the choice to become an organ donor. In April, Allegheny Health Network is honored to celebrate National Donate Life Month and pay tribute to all of those who have bestowed the precious gift of life to another through organ donation. Visit AHNdonate.org to learn more and register to be an organ donor.

WPAHS Names New President and CEO

Dianne Dismukes
Dianne Dismukes, President and Chief Executive Officer of West Penn Allegheny Health System

Dianne Dismukes has been announced as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of West Penn Allegheny Health System. She recently joined the System as Executive Vice President for Hospital Operations. In this role, she led all hospital and outpatient care operations for our System, including direct oversight of our five hospitals.

Prior to joining West Penn Allegheny, she led the operational, clinical and non-labor operational improvement practices at PricewaterhouseCoopers US Healthcare Advisory Practice and internationally.

Ms. Dismukes received her associate’s degree in nursing from Kilgore College, her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Texas and her Master of Business Administration degree from Baylor University. She is a frequent speaker on clinical, quality and non-labor performance improvement and recently presented “Preparing for JCI Accreditation” to the Arab Health Conference.
