A gift of health is one of the most enduring gifts you can give. When you give to any of our hospitals, you join thousands of others who know how good it feels to contribute to the health of our community. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the hospitals of the West Penn Allegheny Health System are better able to provide the facilities, buy the specialized equipment, fund the research, provide medical education, and care for our patients. We are grateful to the many donors who have given so generously over the years, and we know that our patients and families will benefit greatly from your support. Each gift is deeply appreciated and helps us to continue providing the best health care possible for the people in our communities. All contributions to a specific hospital will be used only for that hospital.
Giving to the hospital of your choice The management team, medical professionals, and staff of the West Penn Allegheny Health System want to thank you for considering a gift to the hospitals in our system: Allegheny General Hospital, Allegheny General Hospital Suburban Campus, Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Canonsburg General Hospital, Forbes Hospice, The Western Pennsylvania Hospital - Forbes Regional Campus, and The Western Pennsylvania Hospital. Gifts can be placed in an unrestricted fund to be used where the need is greatest or you may specify where your donation will be used. If you want to donate in memory of a loved one, or in honor of a special occasion, we will send an acknowledgment of your donation. In addition, you will receive notification from us confirming your donation has been received and that an acknowledgement has been sent. Gifts can be made by personal check, money order, or credit card. Payroll deductions are available to West Penn Allegheny Health System employees. Arrangements can be made for other means of making a contribution, such as the transfer of stock and planned gifts including wills and bequests.
