![]() Alle-Kiski Medical CenterThe Alle-Kiski Medical Center consists of Allegheny Valley Hospital and Citizens Ambulatory Care Center. The 250-bed Allegheny Valley Hospital serves as AKMC's inpatient facility and offers a broad spectrum of programs, including medical and surgical services, inpatient psychiatric care, cardiology, orthopaedics, sports medicine, obstetrics and pediatrics. Its emergency department treats nearly 30,000 patients a year. The Citizens Ambulatory Care Center presents a wide array of outpatient programs, including ambulatory surgery and endoscopy, laboratory studies, cardiac diagnostics and radiology services, such as routine X-rays, CT scans, mammography and ultrasound. In addition, it maintains an Urgent Care Center for the treatment of minor medical emergencies. Alle-Kiski Medical Center annually admits nearly 12,000 patients and logs approximately 30,600 emergency visits and 8,500 surgical procedures. More than 300 physicians and 1,100 employees share the hospital's commitment to excellence. A member of the West Penn Allegheny Health System, the Alle-Kiski Medical Center also is home to the Alle-Kiski Cancer Center, which approaches cancer care with a winning combination of experience, compassion and advanced treatment.
