Above and Beyond Recognition Program

Our hospital feels strongly about recognizing individuals for their

EMTS and Paramedics are Eligible for this Program

accomplishments in both the clinical and pre-hospital care of our patients.  For this reason, Forbes has established the Above and Beyond Recognition (ABRP) for affiliated EMTs and Paramedics under Forbes' medical direction. 

Applicants will be chosen by the EMS Medical Director, Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine and the hospital's Chief Operating Officer. 

Award recipients will receive an invitation to the Department of Emergency Medicine Meeting to receive a recognition plaque.  Immediately after the plaque ceremony a breakfast will be held for the recipient in their honor where they can invite friends, family and work associates.  Finally, the recipient will receive a leather Bomber's jacket with the ABRP logo embroidered on it.    All awardees will have their name inscribed on the ABRP plaque located in the hospital's emergency department.

Individuals can be nominated by the Service Director, Board Member or EMS co-workers.
