Head and Neck Cancer
Head and neck tumors affect 55,000 Americans each year. These tumors are located in the skull base, sinuses, orbits, oropharynx, nasopharynx, oral cavity, throat, voice box, salivary glands and thyroid.
Here, we offer a multidisciplinary approach to head and neck tumors that includes organ preservation techniques and advanced reconstructive procedures following tumor removal. Our goal in every treatment plan is to eradicate the cancer while also preserving functional ability and quality of life for each patient.
Surgical management of head and neck cancers ranges from laser removal of small tumors to advanced surgeries with reconstructive techniques. Post-operative care includes a team of medical and radiation oncologists along with speech and nutritional therapies.
