Candidates for the Mini MAZE surgery
- Confirmed diagnosis of atrial fibrillation
- Age between 18 & 80
- Symptomatic
- Failed anti-arrhythmic/rate control drugs or intolerant to them
- Intolerance to warfarin or unable to maintain proper INR levels
- Stroke while on Coumadin
Candidates for the Full Cox MAZE- IV Procedure
- Virtually all patients with AF undergoing a coronary or valve procedure
