Research
The Cardiovascular Institute is one of a few heart failure centers that performs investigations both in the clinical arena and at the bench. Our researchers are evaluating a number of investigational drugs and experimental devices that can potentially benefit patients who fail to respond to other strategies. In addition, translational studies, risk prediction modality and gene therapy techniques and novel ventricular assist clinical development are being explored as alternative advances in CHF management.
