Advanced Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Services at Forbes 

The Ed Dardanell Heart and Vascular Center features the latest in equipment and technology. The Center houses two cardiovascular operating rooms, two cardiac catheterization labs with coronary and peripheral vascular capabilities, an eight-bed Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU), accredited Chest Pain and Stroke Centers, and a comprehensive diagnostic testing department. Diagnostic Electrophysiology (EP) procedures are performed on site.

The Ed Dardanell Heart and Vascular Center promotes a one stop approach to cardiac surgery. Patients stay in the same room from the beginning of their stay through discharge. Patients, families, and staff have the opportunity to bond throughout the course of treatment, leading to an enhanced patient experience and greater staff and patient satisfaction.
