Forbes Hospice

Forbes Hospice is the oldest and most trusted nonprofit hospice and palliative care program in the Pittsburgh region. We have a wealth of experience in delivering comprehensive hospice care to the community and feature nationally-recognized leadership, including a full-time medical director who is board certified in hospice and palliative medicine and who can make house calls in patient’s homes or in the healthcare facilities in which they reside.

We understand that a serious illness can emotionally affect all family members and our compassionate support and guidance are offered to them as well. After their loss, we provide spiritual and psychological support through our Bereavement Program.

Preserve dignity in the last stages of life through the provision of state-of-the-art care to patients and families in our service area, and to support education and research which advances the delivery of care for the terminally ill.
