Therapy Gym

A therapy gym is housed within the Joint and Spine Center so therapists can easily coordinate physical and occupational therapy sessions with each patient’s pain management schedule. This helps patients get the maximum benefit from therapy sessions in the unit gym. Center staff often schedule gym therapy sessions so patients can support and encourage each other, and sometimes patients launch friendly competition that help them reach recovery goals with laughs instead of groans. It’s all part of a treatment model that focuses on the patient, not the procedure.

Patient-Visitor Lounge

The Joint and Spine Center’s patient-visitor lounge welcomes family members during and after a patient’s surgery, and staff meet with family members there during the patient’s hospital stay. Family involvement is a must, as it plays a vital part in patient recovery.

Patient Rooms

The Joint and Spine Center is housed in a dedicated in-patient unit with private and semi-private rooms. Rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs and furniture especially selected for the comfort and safety of those who have undergone joint or spine surgery. Each room is equipped with freezers so patients always have cold-therapy supplies available for post-surgical swelling and for pain management.
