Lupus Awareness Program

This innovative program is designed to introduce middle and high school students, community organizations or support groups to the basics of lupus.

The presentation includes an overview of immunology and autoimmune diseases and a panel discussion with patients who share their personal experiences with lupus.

Students are given the opportunity to evaluate the lab results of fictitious patients and rotate through various laboratory stations to perform research activities alongside the Center’s investigators.
