Prostate Cancer

To schedule an appointment at Allegheny Prostate Center:

1. Please call 412.281.1757, weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

2. Prostate Center sessions may be scheduled in one of three locations depending on the day and time of the session:

• On the fourth floor of the Allegheny Cancer Center – a building attached to Allegheny General Hospital

• At the offices of Triangle Urologic Group at Suite 300, 1307 Federal Street, Pittsburgh, about a block from Allegheny General Hospital

• In the Radiation Oncology Department of Allegeny General Hospital, located on the 02 level (sub basement) of the South Tower of Allegheny General Hospital

The receptionist who makes your appointment will inform you of where and when your appointment is and give you directions if necessary.

Please bring to your appointment:

1. All pertinent medical records, including operative reports, X-ray reports and pertinent office records, particularly PSA reports.

2. Copies of actual films from your bone scan, CT scan, and MRI scan, if these have been done.

3. Pathology slides and reports.

4. A significant other or a friend you trust. It always helps to have a second set of ears and another person to ask questions.

Directions to Allegheny Prostate Center

Allegheny Prostate Center is located on the Fourth Floor of the Allegheny Cancer Center, the five-story facility that is attached to Allegheny General Hospital.

Allegheny Prostate Center patients may park in AGH's James Street Garage and take the pedestrian walkway to the Cancer Center.
