Inpatient Services

Adult inpatient psychiatric services have transitioned to two facilities.  These services are now available at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville.  A detailed map of the Forbes Regional Campus is available here.  Directions and other pertinent information are noted here.  The department has also moved its outpatient and inpatient ECT Services to the Forbes Regional Campus effective January 1, 2010.

Adult inpatient psychiatric care is also now provided at Allegheny Valley Hospital in New Kensington.  Directions and parking information are available here.

Outpatient Services

The Department of Psychiatry's outpatient services, both child and adolescent and adult, as well as our Intensive Psychiatric Day Treatment Program for Adults, are housed on the 8th Floor of the East Commons Professional Building.  The building is close to the Aviary and The Children's Museum.  A map of the immediate vicinity with directions can be accessed here.
