Ways to Give

Annual and Outright Gifts

Allegheny General Hospital benefits substantially from the generosity of individuals and organizations who support the ASRI Highest Priority Fund through an outright gift, or gifts given on an annual basis through various annual appeals. The Highest Priority Fund is used to offset operating expenses with the savings redirected toward supporting research efforts. Contributors can also direct their support to a specific research department or program.

Gifts or pledges can be made conveniently through the Give now online gift processing page, or by completing the ASRI Giving Form and returning it by mail with your gift. You may also fax this form to our office along with your credit card of pledge information.

Honor or Memorial Gifts

Any gift or grant to ASRI can be designated in honor of a research, physician, staff member, employee, or in memory of a friend or loved one. Honor memorial gifts can be made conveniently through the Give now online gift processing page using a credit card, or by completing the honor/memorial section of the ASRI Giving Form and returning it by mail with your contribution, or by fax with your credit card information.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many companies match charitable donations made by their employees or an employee’s spouse. This additional support can double or even triple the value of the original gift. Please check with your human resources department or corporate foundation to see if your company or organization has a gift-matching program.

Grants

Grants are contributions from foundations, businesses, corporations or other organizations that are given in support of ASRI. Grants may also be received from government agencies. The hospital is a regular beneficiary from many grant making organizations that provide support for research programs. Individuals representing grant making institutions are invited to contact the Office of Fund Development at 412-359-5110 for additional information on providing grants to ASRI.

Major Gifts

Major gifts provide the financial resources to fund facility renovation and construction, capital equipment purchases, and the establishment of endowments that provide lasting financial support to a specific department or research program. Often these gifts involve public recognition of the individual donor and memorial recognition for a loved one. For information please call 412-359-5110.

Estate and Investment Gift Planning
