How Can I Give?
Each year, Allegheny Valley Hospital needs generous contributions from individuals, groups, private foundations and corporations. Gifts pass through the hospital’s Trust on the way to their intended purpose – support for AVH and its many clinical and community service programs. All donations are welcome and tax deductible.
Annual Fund
Annual gifts fund a variety of ongoing hospital needs. Donors may restrict gifts to specific clinical areas or make unrestricted gifts to help where the need is greatest. Gifts can be made by cash, check, credit card or through gifts of stock.
Major and Capital Gifts
Major gifts offer naming opportunities to donors with an interest in specific projects. Capital gifts provide funds to build or renovate facilities and purchase equipment.
Grants
The Trust seeks grants from private and corporate foundations and government agencies.
Sponsorships and Special Events
Special events raise funds, build awareness and increase visibility. Corporate and individual patrons can make in-kind donations or monetary sponsorships.
Memorial and Tribute Gifts
Make a gift to honor or remember someone special.
Planned Gifts
Planned giving options include bequests in a will, annuities, life insurance policies, charitable trusts or other deferred giving instruments. These may also provide benefits for the donor and his or her estate.
