Emergency Medicine Residency Program

The Western Pennsylvania Hospital is part of the Affiliated Residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh.

Emergency medicine residents, representing three levels of training, spend clinical time in West Penn's Department of Emergency Medicine.

Emergency medicine residents also spend clinical time in The Western Pennsylvania Hospital's Intensive Care Unit and West Penn's Department of Anesthesiology.
