Why Choose The Western Pennsylvania Hospital for Your Residency Training in Foot and Ankle Surgery?

The Western Pennsylvania Hospital has a history of firsts: the first public hospital chartered in Pittsburgh (1848), sponsor of the first medical college in western Pennsylvania (1883), and now, the first tertiary care hospital in the region to offer a podiatric residency training program.

In affiliation with Temple University School of Medicine, the Hospital offers a full range of medical education opportunities, including a large number of residency and fellowship programs and a 3-year Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency Program.
